Product Care Information

Oh Squirrel products are made to last, which is why it's an important part of the brand's value to help you keep them looking as wonderful as they can for as long as possible.

PRODUCTS

On Arrival

When your Oh Squirrel sash arrives, the most important thing is to take it out of it's neatly folded packaging and hang it up - that way any creases should fall out naturally (just be sure not to loose the fastening badge when doing this!).

Although the sashes are sent in packaging which minimises their creasing, this will help it look as good as possible IRL and in all your photos.

Ironing

Should you need to iron your sash, do so on a low setting with something between the iron and the sash, such as a clean tea towel.

Cleaning

If your sash becomes the victim of a spilled drink or anything else, the best thing to do is spot clean. They're not suitable for machine washing, but a baby wipe is a great way to improve the appearance of any marks.

Ribbon Sashes

Ribbon sashes have raw edges to their ends. If you need to cut it to size or neaten it up, then follow the direction of the previous cut to avoid fraying.

Safety Information

Keep away from flames. Be aware that the badge supplied to fasten your sash has a functional sharp point. Neither the sashes nor the badge are suitable fo children.

Badge Care

Badges are finished with a plastic laminate to keep them shiny and clean, however it is recommended to not get them wet.

Not Suitable for Children

Badges are not toys and are not suitable for children. They contain functional sharp points and could be a choking hazard.

On Arrival

Your hoop will be sent well packaged, whether you opt for a gift box or without. Once unwrapped, if there is any stray 'fluff' from the velvet, the easiest way to remove this is with the sticky side of a piece of cellotape.

The Back of your Hoop

Hoops are finished tidily at the back. Please DO NOT untwist the screw at the top of the hoop, as if you loosen the velvet, it will be difficult to get it back in the frame. Oh Squirrel cannot accept any responsibility for damage to your hoops caused by doing this.

Cleaning

Please do not wash or iron - if your hoop becomes marked, it is recommended to gently clean the area with something gentle, such as a baby wipe, and then ensure the velvet settles in the direction of the pile.

Occasion Hoops

If you store Christmas hoops away and get them out once a year, to refresh them, the cellotape trick is a good idea to get them looking ship shape once more.

Safety Information

Please do not display the hoop within reach of children as the small parts could be a hazard.
